Prusament PLA Azure Blue is intended for 3D printing models requiring high surface quality, precise geometry reproduction, and stable printing parameters. Production carried out by Prusa Research includes continuous diameter monitoring with an accuracy of ±0.02 mm, color consistency control, and verification of mechanical properties for each batch. Each spool includes an individual QR code allowing access to detailed production data.

PLA material features low shrinkage and good dimensional stability, reducing the risk of deformation even when printing larger elements on open-frame 3D printers. The Azure Blue color provides an intense light-blue appearance suitable for prototypes, enclosure components, identification parts, and visual models.
Compared to materials such as PETG, PLA enables easier print parameter configuration and more accurate reproduction of fine details. At the same time, the material offers lower resistance to elevated temperatures and long-term mechanical loads.
