The DM9000 chip from Davicom is a complete Ethernet bridge that integrates two necessary parts of the network interface: MAC (Media Access Controller) and PHY (layer interface). It is equipped with a parallel interface, enabling the operation of the system on foot and (alternatively) the MII interface, commonly used in modern microprocessor systems.
