IMPULSIC METAL DETECTOR - A SELF-ASSEMBLY KIT

The proposed detector locates metal objects in the ground, the wall, makes it possible to find lost objects in the grass or under the carpet (of course also metal). The device is classified as a pulse detector PI (Pulse Induction). Its advantages include lack of sensitivity to soil mineralization. The main disadvantage - high current consumption - can be overcome using a good quality power source.
PI detectors operate on the principle of regular generation of electrical pulses sent to the probe (search coil). This results in a magnetic field. The time with which it disappears after each impulse depends on whether and how large a piece of metal is nearby.
