A simple system protecting the parallel port of our computer against electroacoustic charges (ESD).

The construction of the system is extremely simple. All signals from the port are fed into a specialized protection system against electrostatic charges (ESD). This system contains 18 transiles, protecting against overvoltages up to 8kV. The BAZ100 system is used mainly in printers to protect input circuits from the harmful effects of electrostatic charges. The impulses created while unloading these charges are shorted to the mass. Thanks to this, there is no voltage on the protected system that can damage it.
