The device allows to prevent the occurrence of memory effect in NiCd batteries with capacities up to 1.2 Ah. The system can be successfully used as a battery tester.

To counteract the occurrence of a memory effect, a controlled discharge of the battery should be performed before charging. Some chargers have a built-in discharge function before charging, which effectively extends battery life.

The printed circuit board and documentation are included.
