RELAY MODULE WITH USB INTERFACE - SET FOR INDEPENDENT ACCOUNT

Once popular and easy to implement, the RS232 standard slowly seems to be becoming a thing of the past. His place was taken by popular USB. Most of the currently offered computers have practically only connectors of this standard. To meet this state of affairs, FTDI developed and produced integrated circuits that are USB / UART converters. Their use frees the constructor from the necessity of executing a complicated USB communication stack.

We suggest making a simple relay module. Only the FT system is responsible for controlling the output systems - the lack of any microprocessor.

The device is particularly recommended for computer users equipped with only USB connectors

Selected parameters:

  • extended control program
  • control of relays by means of an application on a PC
  • no microcontroller
  • three control modes: manual, clock, program
  • galvanic separation between the control part and relays
  • status signaling - LED diodes
  • power supply - 5Vdc (interface - from USB port), 12Vdc (relay part)
