ODROID-XU4 is a new generation of computing device with more powerful, more energy-efficient hardware and a smaller form factor.
Offering open source support, the board can run various flavors of Linux, including the latest Ubuntu 15.04 and Android 4.4 KitKat and 5.0 Lollipop.
By implementing the eMMC 5.0, USB 3.0 and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, the ODROID-XU4 boasts amazing data transfer speeds, a feature that is increasingly required to support advanced processing power on ARM devices.
This allows users to truly experience an upgrade in computing, especially with faster booting, web browsing, networking, and 3D games.
The XU4 is fully software compatible with XU3!
However, the XU4 is more compact, more affordable and more expandable.
A MicroSD card or an eMMC module is required to boot the OS. We strongly recommend an eMMC module for faster OS booting, quicker application launching, seamless multi-tasking and efficient access to the cloud.
NOTE:
The active cooling fan is mounted on the XU4 board by default. It spins only when the CPU load is high and the temperature of the CPU hits a minimum threshold temperature. Like most fans, a slight hum can be expected when active.
You can buy power supply 5V/4A for Odrid XU4 separately.
Buy the base and top of this case separately to mix-and-match your choice of colors. Recommended to protect the ODROID-XU4 board from accidental damage.
This level shifter board contains 3 x TSX0108E bi-directional level shifter ICs. The 30-pin and 12-pin GPIO ports on the XU4 are converted to the more common 0.1inch (2.54mm) pitch 40-pin header. All the signals can be level shifted to 3.3V or 5V.

The Curvimeter – or opisometer – is a device that measures the length of curved lines and helps to calculate the distance between the points on a map more precisely than a ruler or a compass.
The mechanism has a measuring wheel, a clock face, and a hand. When the wheel moves along the line on a map that you need to measure, the hand moves around the clock face marked with measuring units – centimeters, inches, etc. All you need to do in the end is to check the map scale and to multiply your data by the denominator in the scale.
