Description

Isolated RS485 module with signal amplifier function. Enables communication over the serial port at up to 500 kbps and offers a range of up to 1200 m using good quality cables. It uses an automatic transmission direction detection function. The converter has built-in surge protection and opto-isolation to ensure safety and noise immunity. It is powered by a voltage from 9 to 36 V via a 5.5x2.5 mm DC jack connector. The housing allows for DIN-rail mounting. It will find application in industrial networks for controlling traffic management, monitoring or data acquisition systems.
