Description

The USR-PX520 is an industrial protocol converter intended for automation applications, enabling direct communication between EtherCAT networks and devices using Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP. The solution supports integration of PLC controllers, SCADA systems, and distributed I/O and field devices in applications requiring deterministic and high-speed data exchange.

The device belongs to the USR-PX series developed by PUSR, designed for continuous operation in industrial environments with increased electromagnetic interference. Protocol conversion is performed in real time at the hardware level, with millisecond-level latency, without the need for additional user-side software development.

The USR-PX520 is equipped with two EtherCAT ports (IN/OUT) featuring an integrated switch function, allowing easy insertion into a linear EtherCAT network topology. The RS485 interface enables communication with Modbus RTU devices, while the RJ45 Ethernet port supports Modbus TCP. A rugged aluminum enclosure, DIN rail mounting, and full galvanic isolation of the power supply and communication interfaces make the device suitable for control cabinets and industrial automation systems. Configuration is carried out using a dedicated PC-based configuration tool.
