Description

10-axis inertial sensor module, comprising: accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer and barometer. The sensor is ideal for studying the movement of the object on which it is mounted. It is able to monitor movement, position, orientation, altitude and ambient temperature. Ideally suited to solutions such as drones, balancing robots or interfaces requiring the movement of human limbs to control the devices. The sensor module communicates with the microcontroller using the I2C interface.

  • MPU9255: 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis magnetometer
    • The built-in Digital Motion Processing ™ (DMP ™) motor provides sensor-level calculations, synchronization of individual component sensors, gesture recognition, etc.
    • Compared to the MPU6050 sensor, it has lower energy consumption and is better suited for devices worn on clothing.
  • BMP280: pressure sensor (barometer)
    • It has a built-in temperature sensor for temperature compensation of the measurement.
    • Compared to the BMP180 sensor, it has less energy consumption and greater measurement accuracy.
