Description

The ESP32-C6 Thing Plus development board is an advanced tool that unlocks new possibilities for projects involving wireless communication. It features the ESP32-C6 WROOM-1-N16 module from Espressif with a RISC-V single-core processor and a wide range of connectivity options, including WiFi 6 in the 2.4 GHz band, Bluetooth 5.3, Zigbee, and Thread (802.15.4). This makes it ideal for various IoT and wireless communication applications.

The ESP32-C6 Thing Plus offers numerous features to enhance its capabilities. It includes a microSD card slot for expanded project capabilities and a Qwiic connector for easy integration with the SparkFun sensor and actuator ecosystem. The board also has a built-in LiPo battery charger with a charge level indicator and an addressable RGB LED. It is compatible with the Feather format and provides 23 GPIO pins on 2.54 mm spaced headers. Power and programming are handled via a USB-C connector and a 2-pin JST connector for the LiPo battery (not included). The ESP32-C6 also features a rich set of peripherals such as SPI, UART, LPUART, I2C, I2S, LED PWM, USB Serial/JTAG controller, and ADC, which can be mapped to any GPIO pins. The SparkFun ESP32-C6 Thing Plus is an ideal board for developing wireless projects with its intuitive design, advanced features, and versatile connectivity.
