Description

Module with WiFi Espressif ESP32-S2 WROOM. It integrates a rich set of peripheral devices - capacitive touch sensors, SPI, UART, I2S and I2C. Thing Plus has 4 MB of Flash memory, 320 KB of internal SRAM memory, integrated WiFi 802.11 b/g/n transceiver and a JST-PH 2.0 connector for connecting a LiPo battery. Compared to the previous version of the board with the ESP32 module, the ESP32-S2 WROOM offers external flash and RAM encryption, secure boot functions, and included HMAC and Digital Signature modules to increase application security. In addition, the built-in ULP coprocessor (RISC-V) offers an even better balance between high performance and low energy consumption. The board also has dedicated output contacts, DVP camera interface, LCD interface and an integrated temperature sensor.

The module offers great possibilities in the field of IoT systems and can be used both to control LEDs and to transfer data to a specific platform. Thing Plus can also be programmed using the Arduino IDE and a special library. Full documentation is available in the guide.
