X-NUCLEO-53L4A2 is an expansion board with ToF VL53L4CX distance sensor designed for STM32 Nucleo kits. Interacts the SPAD matrix (Single Photon Avalanche Diodes) and FlightSense ™ technology, which allows you to measure the absolute distance regardless of the color and surface of the detected object. Thanks to the application of the IR transmitter emitting light with a wavelength of 940 nm and a set of filters, it offers a range of up to 6 m with good resistance to interference from ambient light. The sensor has a detection angle of 18 ° and uses VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) which means there is no blind spot and can detect objects very close to the sensor. It has the ability to detect several objects at the same time. The shield is compatible with STM32 Nucleo boards and has an Arduino UNO R3 connector.
