Expansion module designed for STM32 Nucleo-64 boards with built-in Power Delivery peripheral (UCPD). It allows prototyping of devices using the TCPP03-M20 system and USB type C in the DRP (Dual Role Power) and DRD (Dual Role Data) functions.
X-NUCLEO-DRP1M1 is equipped with the ST715PU33R LDO stabilizer, which is responsible for powering the connected STM32 Nucleo development board and allows you to simulate both the connection of a power source and a discharged battery. The module complies with the USB Type-C ™ and Power Delivery 3.1 power range (SPR) specifications and is USB-IF certified as a 100W solution that supports Programmable Power Supply (PPS).
The software package (X-CUBE-TCPP) contains application examples for development boards with embedded UCPD based microcontrollers (NUCLEO-G071RB, NUCLEO-G474RE) that can be transferred to other development boards with embedded UCPD based microcontrollers (e.g. NUCLEO-G0B1RE).
