Description
P-NUCLEO-IOD02A1 is an STM32 Nucleo kit consisting of NUCLEO-L452RE, X-NUCLEO-IOD02A1 and X-NUCLEO-IKS02A1. It is designed for use as an IO-Link device. X-NUCLEO-IOD02A1 offers the physical layer of the device, NUCLEO-L452RE the implementation of the IO-Link stack, and X-NUCLEO-IKS02A1 the sensor suite.
IO-Link communication is a solution for I/O modules, which is designed to work with sensors and actuators. It is a new standard that allows every device on the network to be integrated in the same way and throughout the automation area. The STM32 Nucleo package provides an affordable and easy-to-use solution for implementing IO-Link applications.
