Wio-E5-LE mini Dev Board Seeed Studio 113991156 is a development board with the STM32WLE5JC module and built-in LoRaWAN support in the EU868/US915 bands, intended for creating energy-efficient IoT applications with long transmission range. It is suitable for prototyping environmental sensors, smart city systems, and precision agriculture solutions.
Description
The Wio-E5-LE mini development board provides access to all GPIO lines of the integrated Wio-E5-LE wireless module, equipped with the STM32WLE5JC microcontroller with an ARM Cortex-M4 core and SX126x transceiver. It supports long-range transmission in the EU868 and US915 bands using the LoRa protocol and (G)FSK, (G)MSK, and BPSK modulation. The transmission range reaches up to 10 km in open conditions, and the standby current is 2.1 µA in WOR mode.
The board is equipped with a USB Type-C connector with a UART converter, RESET and BOOT buttons, and a full set of communication interface pins such as UART, SPI, I2C, and ADC. Thanks to the built-in firmware with AT commands and the possibility of programming through the STM32CubeProgrammer SDK, the board enables quick prototyping of battery-powered IoT network nodes used in precision agriculture, environmental monitoring systems, and industrial automation.
