A tool for debugging and programming STM32 microcontrollers via JTAG/SWD interfaces. It has a built-in current measurement unit (SMU) designed to optimise power consumption. STMicroelectronics STLINK-V3PWR
STLINK-V3PWR is a tool for debugging and programming STM32 microcontrollers via JTAG/SWD interfaces. It has a built-in current measurement unit (SMU) designed to optimise power consumption. It can be used as a standalone power source measurement unit and measure the current consumption of the target application. The product keeps the output voltage constant during fast transients from very low to high current.
The device is also a probe for debugging and programming STM32 microcontrollers. The product uses an interface with an integrated voltage level converter to match the input/output voltage of the target application. It provides a virtual COM port, which allows communication with the microcontroller via the UART interface or via bridged interfaces (SPI, I2C, CAN, GPIO), which enables programming via the bootloader. The USB Type-C connector used allows communication with the host computer and draws up to 5 V/3 A to power both the probe and the target application, via the SMU and auxiliary output.
