Description

The device USB-C Female Connector Breakout by Soldered provides access to selected USB Type-C female connector signals through breadboard-compatible pins. The board exposes VBUS, GND, CC1, CC2, D+, and D-, allowing USB power and data lines to be connected to custom electronic circuits.

The 2.54mm pin pitch makes the board suitable for use with breadboards and standard pin headers. Access to the CC1 and CC2 lines allows them to be used in circuits requiring the USB-C configuration channel. Functions such as USB Power Delivery require a suitable external controller and are not implemented by the breakout board itself.

The board can be used for prototyping devices with a USB-C receptacle, USB-powered circuits, and designs requiring access to the D+ and D- data lines. Two mounting holes allow the board to be mechanically secured inside a prototype or finished device. Board dimensions are 22 × 22mm.
