The SparkFun XBee Explorer is an adapter that allows you to connect Digi's XBee format modules to computers via a USB Type-C interface. The adapter is built using the FT231XS chip. The board enables the construction of sensor networks for remote monitoring, wireless control of devices from a computer, real-time data acquisition system prototyping, and many other applications. It is a versatile development board that provides access to the full functionality of the XBee module pins, including a USB Type-C connector for UART communication, a Qwiic connector for I2C-compatible sensors and peripherals, and Reset and D0 buttons.
Digi Remote Manager allows users to easily configure and control devices from a central platform. Built-in Digi TrustFence® security features, identity, and data privacy leverage multiple layers of control to protect against new and evolving cyber threats. Standard XBee API frames and AT commands, MicroPython, and Digi XBee Studio simplify setup, configuration, testing, and adding or changing functions.
