Load cell amplifier module with a 24-bit HX711 ADC for use with Wheatstone bridge-based sensors. It provides two differential input channels and DAT and SCK lines for direct communication with a microcontroller. The supply voltage range is 2.7–5.5V and board dimensions are 22 × 22mm. Soldered 333005
The device Load-Cell Amplifier HX711 Board by Soldered uses a 24-bit HX711 ADC to measure low-level differential signals generated by load cells and other Wheatstone bridge-based sensors. The IC amplifies the measurement signal and converts it into digital data, allowing the board to be used in electronic scales, force measurement systems, and automation applications employing strain gauges.
The HX711 provides two differential input channels. The manufacturer specifies a gain of 128 for Channel A and 64 for Channel B. The load cell is connected through the E+, E-, A+, A-, B+, and B- pins. E+ and E- provide bridge excitation, while A+/A- and B+/B- provide differential measurement inputs.
Communication with the microcontroller takes place directly through the DAT and SCK lines. The connection does not require an I2C or SPI bus and can be implemented using digital microcontroller GPIO pins. The current product page for SKU 333005 specifies a reading speed of 10SPS.
The module operates from a 2.7–5.5V supply and consumes less than 1.5mA during operation. Board dimensions are 22 × 22mm. The 3.2mm mounting holes are designed for M3 screws.
