Arduino Expandable Arduino uses Atmel SAM3X8E 32-bit microcontroller with ARM Cortex-M3 core. The user has 54 digital I/O lines at his disposal, 12 of which can combine the PWM output configuration, 12 12-bit analog inputs, 4 UART interfaces, into digital-to-analog converters. The microcontroller is clocked at 84 MHz. The board is equipped with 2 USB sockets, power socket, ISCP and JTAG programming interface, RESET button. The I/O lines tolerate amplification up to 3.3 V, connecting the 5 V line can be supported by the microcontroller. Micro-USB connector for functional USB host, the other can be used for USB (B) for programming/debugging.
