Description

5G/4G/3G communication and GNSS positioning module designed to work with the NVIDIA Jetson Nano kit. It is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 chip, which guarantees multi-band frequency support, so that the device can be used in countries and regions such as China, Japan, South Korea, Europe or the Middle East. It supports 5G SA or NSA networks and is backwards compatible with 4G and 3G networks. SIM8200EA-M2 supports positioning within GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo and QZSS systems. The module allows you to make phone calls, support SMS, MMS, mail, TCP / IP, IPV4, IPV6, Multi-PDP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, MQTTS, DNS, SSL3.0. The board has a 40-pin connector for connecting the module to Jetson Nano and a 3.5 mm audio connector, SIM card slot, USB connector for communication with the SIM8200EA-M2 using AT commands and connectors for connecting antennas. The base board has a standard M2 connector, which enables connection to various 4G or 5G communication modules with an M2 connector. Full documentation is available on the product Wiki page.
