Description
The AHA-HSMC card is an interface solution that enables connecting Aptina (now ON Semiconductor) image sensors to FPGA evaluation kits equipped with an HSMC (High Speed Mezzanine Connector) interface. The module converts the parallel interface of an Aptina sensor into an HSMC-compatible format while providing support for the I²C configuration bus and shutter control signals. The board is used in image acquisition systems and video processing projects on Intel (Altera) FPGA platforms.
