The ATAVRSBLP1 module enables the integration of light, presence, and simple directional gesture detection functions in embedded systems based on the AVR Xplain platform. Equipped with an OSRAM SFH 7770 sensor and IR diodes, it is used in projects requiring intelligent response to the environment.
The ATAVRSBLP1 Sensors Xplained Light and Proximity One module contains the OSRAM SFH 7770 sensor, which integrates ambient light intensity measurement and proximity detection functions. Additionally equipped with three SFH4059 IR diodes, it also enables contactless recognition of directional gestures. Designed to work with Atmel AVR Xplain development boards, it supports rapid prototyping of applications that respond to user presence or changing lighting conditions. Supported by Atmel AVR Studio 5, it allows full integration with Atmel’s design software. It is used in portable devices, notebooks, and gesture-based user interfaces.
