Description
The ATAVRSBIN2 Sensors Xplained Inertial Two development board is a complete 9DoF inertial sensor platform integrating a three-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and temperature sensor. Designed to work with Atmel’s AVR Xplain series boards, it enables rapid prototyping of applications utilizing motion detection, spatial orientation, or gesture-based user interfaces. The IMU-3000 chip from InvenSense provides three-axis angular velocity and temperature measurement. Linear acceleration is measured by the KXTF9 sensor from Kionix, and magnetic field detection is handled by the HMC5883 magnetometer from Honeywell. All sensors are supported within the Atmel AVR Software Framework.
