The RP2350-ETH development module combines the computing power of a dual-architecture microcontroller with Ethernet support, enabling the creation of compact and integrated network applications. Dedicated to projects utilizing TCP/IP transmission, it provides support for C/C++, MicroPython, and Arduino languages as well as a wide range of development resources. Thanks to its open architecture and compact form, it is suitable for IoT applications, communication gateways, and embedded systems requiring fast access to a local network.
The RP2350-ETH module integrates the RP2350 microcontroller designed by Raspberry Pi with the CH9120 Ethernet chip, creating a compact development platform with TCP/IP network support. The core of the device is a dual-architecture microcontroller: two ARM Cortex-M33 cores and two Hazard 3 RISC-V cores, clocked up to 150 MHz. Onboard are 520 KB of SRAM and 4 MB of NOR Flash memory.
The module enables network connectivity via an RJ45 socket and the CH9120 chip, which supports TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP Server, and UDP Client modes. Programming is possible via a USB Type-C connector using the drag-and-drop method. The module offers 14 configurable GPIO lines and 12 programmable PIO state machines, allowing for the creation of custom peripheral interfaces. The device does not come with pre-soldered connectors, which allows direct mounting into projects via castellated mounting holes.
The board supports C/C++, MicroPython, and Arduino programming languages. Full documentation, SDK, and online tutorials are available.
