Laser distance sensor based on the ToF (Time of Flight) measurement technique. The ToF method measures the time from the emission of an infrared laser pulse to its return to the detector. The module is based on the VL53L1X sensor, which allows, thanks to the ToF technique, to make accurate measurements regardless of the color or reflection of light from the object. The module has a range of up to 2 m. It can be supplied with the voltage in the range of 2.6-3.5 V. Communication with the sensor takes place via the I2C interface. It can be used in robotics or devices that require precise measurements. The sensor can detect simple hand gestures.
