Description
IR distance sensor with a range of up to 400 cm. It has a digital output that changes its state when the object is within the sensor's detection range. Detects an object, but does not indicate how far it is. It is a great solution for quickly detecting the presence of nearby items. The sensor does not require triggering the measurements - they are performed continuously whenever the sensor is turned on. The detection of the object is signaled on the digital output and additionally by the LED diode. It can be used as an obstacle sensor for a mobile robot, smart home applications or an alarm system.
