An ultrasonic ToF sensor that uses the energy difference of the echo signal on different surfaces to identify materials. Characterized by very low power consumption, small size and light weight, it has been specially designed to identify materials at a distance of 2 to 10 cm. The sensor can distinguish between hard and soft materials, transmitting information via digital IO (high/low) or UART interface. It is compact and easy to install, mainly suitable for cleaning robots that identify the floor material and automatically adjust the cleaning method according to the recognized floor information.
