Programmable 5.65" color e-paper module with a 600 × 448px AC057TC1 display supporting 7 colors. Based on ESP32-WROVER with WiFi and Bluetooth, it includes microSD, RTC, USB-C, easyC / Qwiic and a 3.7V 1200mAh Li-Ion battery with a 3D-printed enclosure. Soldered 333231
The device Inkplate 6COLOR by Soldered is a programmable module featuring a 5.65-inch AC057TC1 color e-paper display with a resolution of 600 × 448px. The panel can display 7 colors: black, white, red, yellow, blue, green and orange. A full screen refresh takes approximately 12s. Since partial refresh is not supported, the module is best suited for applications where the displayed content changes periodically, such as information boards, status panels, calendars or digital photo frames.
The module is based on the ESP32-WROVER, providing WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 BR/EDR and BLE connectivity. The board features a microSD card slot, battery-backed RTC, USB-C connector and easyC / Qwiic connector. Available GPIO lines and I2C and SPI interfaces allow the project to be expanded with additional sensors, modules and peripheral devices.

The 333231 variant is supplied with a 3D-printed enclosure and a 3.7V 1200mAh Li-Ion battery. The onboard MCP73831 circuit charges the battery when USB-C power is connected, while the device can automatically switch to battery power after the cable is disconnected. Deep-sleep current consumption is approximately 18µA, and the dimensions of the device with the enclosure are approximately 140 × 119.3 × 13.6mm.
Inkplate 6COLOR can be programmed using Arduino and MicroPython. The Arduino library is compatible with Adafruit GFX, and the manufacturer also provides tools for converting graphics into a format supported by the display. Both the hardware design and software are available as open source.
