The module is equipped with an e-ink display with a diagonal of 2.13 "and a resolution of 250x122 pixels, is intended for the Raspberry Pi microcomputer, to which it can be connected using a 2x20 pin connector. The Raspberry pi 2x20 pin connector is additionally led from the side of the module so that it can be used in other applications. Communication with Raspberry Pi takes place via the SPI interface. The extension is also equipped with two buttons that are connected to the GPIO28 and GPIO29 ports. The plate is small in size and has low energy consumption. The advantage of e-ink displays is power consumption only during refreshment, continuous image display even after disconnecting the power supply and good visibility in strong light. The display works best when displaying static data, but due to the long refresh time it will not be recommended to use it for constantly changing data.
