This module provides adjustable, galvanically isolated power. By default, it generates a 5 V output voltage, but it can easily be switched to 3.3 V using the voltage select pin (VSEL). Thanks to the galvanic isolation between the input and output, the module effectively prevents issues related to ground loops and ground currents that can lead to unpredictable system behavior or even damage.

The module is based on the MPS MIE1W0505BGLVH chip, which provides 2.5 kVRMS isolation. This value guarantees high protection and reliability in challenging operating conditions. The PCB design ensures a minimal distance of 3.5 mm between the isolated sides, meeting the system's requirements. The module is particularly useful in applications requiring stable and isolated power supply voltages in the range of 3 V to 5.5 V. Its compact size makes it easy to mount on breadboards. The input power is provided through the VIN and GND1 pins, and the output power is provided through the VOUT and GND2 pins. The module also features over-temperature and short-circuit protection, ensuring long-lasting and safe operation in demanding conditions. With a simple enable pin (EN), the module can operate in low-power mode, making it an ideal solution for energy-saving projects.
