ESP32-P4-WIFI6 is an advanced development board for HMI and multimedia processing applications, equipped with two ESP32 chips and Wi-Fi 6 and BLE connectivity. A rich set of interfaces and 32 MB PSRAM memory enable the development of complex projects with displays, cameras and sound.
The ESP32-P4-WIFI6 development board integrates two systems: the main ESP32-P4 with a dual-core RISC-V processor clocked up to 400 MHz and the auxiliary ESP32-C6, providing Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz) and Bluetooth 5/BLE connectivity via the SDIO interface. The platform is designed for demanding multimedia applications, human-machine interfaces (HMI), advanced edge systems and solutions requiring a high level of security.
ESP32-P4 offers a rich set of peripheral interfaces, such as MIPI-CSI and MIPI-DSI for handling cameras and displays, USB OTG 2.0 HS, I2S, I2C, SPI, ADC, PWM, UART, RMT and a microSD card slot (SDIO 3.0). Built-in 32 MB PSRAM and 32 MB Flash memory allow implementing complex projects with image and sound processing, for example using the H.264 accelerator, JPEG Codec or the video signal processor.
The board is equipped with a 40-pin GPIO connector (2×20) compatible with some Raspberry Pi Pico shields and connectors for a microphone, speaker and OV5647 camera. Integrated security mechanisms include Secure Boot, Flash encryption and hardware support for access control and privilege separation.
