KAmod ESP32-C3 DIN integrates the ESP32-C3-WROOM-02U module with a 32-bit RISC-V core clocked up to 160 MHz, enabling wireless communication via Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 5 LE. The board includes a USB-C interface for programming and application monitoring using USB-UART, as well as an RS485 interface with built-in surge protection intended for industrial communication and automation systems.
The module provides an I2C interface with 3.3 V supply in the Q-Wire standard, compatible with Qwiic and Stemma QT ecosystems, allowing straightforward expansion with additional sensors and peripheral modules. The design includes 4 N-MOSFET low-side outputs rated up to 1 A each and 2 analog inputs with voltage dividers and a 12-bit ADC, supporting input voltages up to 32 V. Power can be supplied with 7 - 32 V DC via screw terminals or 5 V via USB-C. The PCB layout matches the Z106 enclosure format for DIN35 rail mounting in control cabinets and automation installations.
