The StarSOM STM32H757 system-on-module in the industrial version, equipped with the STM32H757 microcontroller with two ARM cores Cortex-M7 (up to 480 MHz) and Cortex-M4 (up to 240 MHz). In addition to internal memory (2 MB Flash, 1 MB RAM), the module has 32 MB of external SDRAM and 16 MB of QSPI Flash for storing applications and data.
The SLS05H757_480C_32R_16QSPI_2ET_I version is equipped with an integrated Microchip 100 Mb Ethernet PHY, enabling direct handling of wired network communication. It also offers a rich set of communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I²C, CAN-FD, USB 2.0 OTG) and support for MIPI-DSI displays.
The built-in Chrom-ART graphics accelerator and hardware JPEG codec allow handling of HMI interfaces and multimedia applications. Hardware security features include AES, SHA, HMAC, DES/3DES encryption, and a random number generator. The module is designed to operate in the full industrial temperature range –40…+85 °C, making it suitable for IoT, automation, and control systems in demanding environmental conditions.
