Development kit with nRF52840 microcontroller with ARM Cortex M4F core and 2 MB external QSPI memory. It has built-in BLE communication. It can be programmed using the Arduino IDE or CircuitPython. Adafruit 45481
A development kit with a Bluetooth Low Energy module based on Nordic Semiconductor's nRF52840 microcontroller. The chip is equipped with 1 MB of Flash memory and 256 kB of RAM and can operate at up to 64 MHz. In addition, the board features a 2 MB QSPI Flash memory, which can store CircuitPython code and additional data.
Among the interfaces available on the board's connector, the user will find six analogue inputs with 12-bit resolution, 12 PWM outputs available on GPIO pins, and I2C, UART, SPI and I2S interfaces. In addition, the user has an RGB mini DotStar LED and a red LED available.
The module offers a variety of power supply methods, including via the USB connector or via the BAT pin, which is a 3.5 to 6 V power supply using a LiPo battery. The built-in 3.3 V voltage stabiliser not only provides voltage to the components on the board, but also allows external circuits to be powered via the 3 V pin, which is controlled by an En or Vhi input connected directly to BAT and USB.
The Feather nRF52840 Sense can be programmed using the Nordic SDK environment, the Arduino IDE and using CircuitPython. Full documentation along with numerous examples are available on the product page.
