A set with a development board with the nRF51822 chip, designed for learning programming for pupils and students. It is a more extensive alternative to micro:bit educational modules. DFRrobot DFR0840
Calliope Mini is a set with an educational module equipped with the Nordic nRF51822 system. This microcontroller with the ARM Cortex-M0 core is equipped with 16 KB of RAM and 256 KB of Flash and communication within the Bluetooth 4.0 LE and 2.4 GHz RF protocol.

The board is a more extensive alternative to the popular micro:bit modules. It uses the same nRF51822 chip, a 5x5 LED matrix, two user buttons and numerous peripheral outputs: PWM, analog inputs, serial interface, I2C, SPI and digital inputs/outputs. In addition, the Calliope Mini board is equipped with a 9-axis IMU sensor with an accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer, MEMS microphone, DC motor driver, buzzer and RGB addressable diode. Unlike the micro: bit, the Calliope module does not have an edge connector, and the corresponding pins have been placed on the corners of the board in the form of pads under the alligator clips.
The set is programmed using the same tools as micro: bit - MakeCode graphical interface, as well as Open Roberta Lab, Python or JavaScript. Full documentation along with numerous educational materials is available on the project website.
