Isolated DC-DC power module designed for safe powering of sensitive electronic circuits, offering galvanic isolation up to 3kVRMS, 5V or 5.5V output voltage, and output current up to 300mA. Pololu 5414
The isolated DC-DC power module is intended for applications that require galvanic separation between the power source and the load, significantly increasing operational safety and immunity to electrical interference. The solution is suitable for measurement systems, industrial automation, communication devices, and applications with multiple power sources, where eliminating ground loops is essential.

The module is based on the Texas Instruments UCC33420RAQR integrated circuit and provides galvanic isolation up to 3kVRMS between the input and output. An input voltage range of 4.5–5.5V enables direct compatibility with common 5V systems. The output delivers a regulated voltage of 5V or 5.5V, selectable via the SEL pin, with a maximum continuous output current of 300mA.
Integrated thermal, short-circuit, undervoltage, and overvoltage protections enhance operational reliability. The EN/FLT pin allows remote power enable control and fault indication. Compact PCB dimensions and a 2.54mm pin pitch enable direct mounting on breadboards and prototyping boards. Due to efficiency below 60%, sufficient power margin must be provided on the input side.
