The ZL28ARM set is a universal starter kit for the AT91SAM7XC microcontrollers. Thanks to the equipment in a wide range of peripheral systems, it can be used as an environment for prototyping or as an educational set.

The ZL28ARM set, thanks to the extensive set of typical peripheral systems, provides the environment for running prototypes of systems built using microcontrollers from the AT91SAM7 family. It can also be used as an educational set while learning to program microcontrollers with the ARM7 core. The microcontroller used in the set distinguishes itself among the AT91SAM7 systems built-in a cryptographic module.

The basic properties of the set:

  • AT91SAM7XC256 microcontroller in LQFP100 housing (including 128 kB Flash memory, 20 kB SRAM, 2xSPI, 2xI2C, 3xUART memory, USB, CAN, ADC) working with 18.432 MHz quartz resonator
  • 4-button keyboard
  • 5-way joystick
  • 4 LEDs
  • connector for 2x16 alphanumeric LCD display (LCD1602)
  • clock circuit M41T00 (STMicroelectronics) working on the I2C bus with the battery holder CR2032
  • TC77 digital thermometer system (Microchip) working on the SPI bus
  • piezoelectric transducer
  • analog input path with gain adjustment
  • output analog track with gain adjustment
  • potentiometer enabling voltage supply to the input of an analog-to-digital converter embedded in the microcontroller
  • 20-pin JTAG connector for memory programming and program debugging
  • USB interface for data transmission between a PC and the STM32 microcontroller
  • SD memory card connector
  • 2 DB9 connectors for data transmission via RS232
  • Microcontroller outlets attached to the pin connector
