Receiver for a beginner shortwave radio - designed in a system with direct frequency conversion. Despite the very simple design, it allows reception of both telegraphic (CW) and phonic, single-stream (SSB) signals. It is very easy to do even by a novice electronics.
The receiver is distinguished by sufficient sensitivity and good resistance to intermodulation and strong input signals. During the daytime, it allows you to receive many local CW / SSB stations for handsets, and also foreign European stations operating in the 3.5-3.8MHz band at the abroad.
