The ProxiLAB3 test platform provides fully configurable PCD (reader) signal emulation for testing contactless smart cards that implement a range of 13.56 Mhz signaling protocols. This includes, as options, the choice to emulate signals using ISO 14443 (A, B), NFC (IP1, IP2), FeliCa (ISO18092), and ISO 15693 protocols.

Advanced Emulation, Connectivity & Control Features

ProxiLAB3 offers the most complete range of signal control and measurement features for testing card readers including modification of test bench parameters from software, programmable carrier frequency, modulation index control, RF field, resonant frequency, Q factor measurement and much more.

These capabilities combine with a complete range of hardware connectivity and control features to make the ProxiLAB3 the most powerful and versatile reader test platform on the market today with:

• Multiple IO ports for connection to external equipment
• Script-based controls (VB, JScript, Perl, C)
• Application Programmable Interface (API)
• Included external ISO antenna
• Optional PICC reference probe

ProxiLAB features a highly configurable RF interface, programmable modulator / demodulator and an embedded logic analyzer. The RGPA software environment provides full, easy control of the complete range of analog signal parameters and protocol commands and sequences (bit rate, modulation, timing EOF/SOF, ...). Users can also implement their own scripted test cases using the RScript software environment to facilitate script editing, validation, managment and execution.

ProxiLAB comes as a complete hardware and software test platform that includes:

• ProxiLAB signal emulation and protocol analysis hardware (functionality depends on options selected by the user)
• RGPA software interface for tool configuration, control and viewing of test results
• RScript software interface for creating, editing and executing tool control scripts (limited license)
• Probe antennas in reader and card formats
• All necessary connection cables and power supply

Ordering Information

ProxiLAB capabilities are determined by a set of firmware options. This allows users to order the functionality they need - reader and/or emulator capability with digital or digital and analog level signal control, supporting ISO14443 only or NFC, ISO14443, ISO15693 and FeliCa.
