In the specialist press and on the Internet, designs of on-board computers designed for cars were described many times, but the vast majority of them were adapted for use in vehicles with a gasoline engine.

Recommendations: the group of people who modulate their cars is very large - it is a project primarily for them, but it is also a great course on how to "pull out" the necessary information from the installation of the car.

Basic information:

  • adapted for 12 V car installation
  • functions:
    • Cooling the turbocharger
    • Cruise control
    • information on fuel consumption and distance to travel (range)
    • driving time
    • date and time indication
    • informing about the possibility of black ice, etc.
  • adapted to the diesel engine
  • menu operated by means of buttons
  • ATmega168 microcontroller
  • a printed circuit board, programmed layout and documentation in the set
