ToF distance sensor module based on the VL6180X system. It uses FlightSense™ technology that allows you to measure the absolute distance regardless of the color and surface of the detected object. The sensor can measure the distance of objects 50 cm away with a dead zone in the range of 0 to 2 cm and a detection angle of 25°. The module also offers the ability to detect gestures. The VL6180 communicates via the I2C interface, and the user has a friendly and easy-to-use API (Application Programming Interface) available in C language. It can be used in applications to detect the presence of objects and obstacles in both industrial robots and mobile structures.
