The Kitronik Motor set is the perfect tool for beginners to learn programming and robotics. With it, you can build your own buggy robot controlled by the micro:bit module, introducing you to the world of movement, obstacle detection, and avoidance, as well as learning programming in the Microsoft MakeCode or Python environments. It's an excellent solution that provides a solid foundation in robotics.
The robot is equipped with two DC motors with speed control, allowing it to move in any direction. The wheels have rubber tires and are easy to mount on the motor shafts. The entire set requires no tools or complicated assembly – simply insert the micro:bit into the edge connector, power it on, and start programming. The set offers many exciting features such as ultrasonic sensors for obstacle detection, line-following sensors, a piezo buzzer, and a pen holder for drawing paths with the robot. It also includes programmable ZIP LEDs that can display the full range of colors, along with additional outputs for connecting servos.
Power is provided by 4 AA batteries housed in an integrated battery holder. The set also features a power switch, allowing you to save battery life when the robot is not in use. The set can be easily programmed in the MakeCode environment, where Kitronik has prepared special blocks to simplify the robot's coding. For more advanced users, there are also MicroPython examples available in the GitHub repository.
Note!
The set does not include the micro:bit module or batteries.Responsible person BTC Korporacja sp. z o. o. Lwowska 5 05-120 Legionowo Poland sprzedaz@kamami.pl 22 767 36 20
