Description
The D45V5F3 is a high-efficiency buck (step-down) converter that reduces the input voltage to a stable 3.3 V output while maintaining excellent performance. It supports input voltages from 4 V to 65 V and can supply up to 700 mA of output current, depending on operating conditions. By using switching regulator (SMPS) technology, it achieves much higher efficiency compared to traditional linear regulators, especially when there is a significant difference between input and output voltages. The module features an ultra-low quiescent current (<0.2 mA) and a switching frequency of 1.1 MHz, ensuring stable operation under normal loads and excellent efficiency under light loads. It is also equipped with short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown for safe and reliable operation.
The converter has three main pins: VIN (input voltage), GND (ground), and VOUT (output voltage).
