Adapter designed to connect M.2 E-Key and A+E Key modules to a Mini-PCIe slot in Gateworks single-board computers. It supports one PCIe lane and one USB 2.0 channel, as well as M.2 modules up to 52 mm long. The design is primarily intended for installing WiFi wireless communication cards in systems equipped with a Mini-PCIe connector. Gateworks GW16151
The GW16151 adapter allows M.2 E-Key and A+E Key modules to be used in the Mini-PCIe slot of Gateworks single-board computers. The adapter passes through one PCIe lane and one USB 2.0 channel, providing the signals required by compatible wireless modules. The manufacturer has limited the number of signals passed through to avoid pin conflicts found in some Mini-PCIe and M.2 implementations.
The adapter supports M.2 modules up to 52 mm long, including NGFF 2230, 2242, 3030, 3042, 3050, and 3052 form factors. The 3.3 V supply is provided through the Mini-PCIe connector, while the typical current consumption of the adapter itself is 0.2 A without a connected module. The operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C allows the board to be used in industrial systems. The manufacturer has tested the adapter with Gateworks single-board computers and provides technical support for such configurations.
