The RN171-I/RM is a standalone complete TCP/IP wireless networking module. Due to its small form factor and extremely low power consumption.
Features:
- Ultra low power: 4 uA sleep mode, 38 mA active.
- Firmware configurable transmit power: 0 to 12 dBm.
- Wide Operating temperature range: -45 to +85 °C.
- Hardware interfaces: UART, SDIO and SPI.
- Host data rate up to 4 Mbps for SDIO and SPI and 464K over UART.
- Supports Adhoc and infrastructure networking.
- 10 general purpose digital I/O.
- 8 analog sensor inputs.
- Real-time clock for time-stamping, auto-sleep, and auto-wakeup modes.
- Accepts 3.3 VDC regulated power supply.
- Configuration over UART or wireless interface (via Telnet) using simple ASCII commands.
- Over the air firmware upgrade (FTP).
- Secure WiFi authentication WEP-128, WPA-PSK , WPA2-AES.
- Built-in networking applications DHCP, UDP, DNS, ARP, ICMP.
