Expansion board for BBC micro:bit designed to control up to 3 servos, including standard 180° models and 360° continuous rotation servos. Equipped with a BBC micro:bit edge connector, three servo connectors with a 2.54 mm pitch, six croc-clippable pads and a holder for 3 AA batteries. Supports programming in Microsoft MakeCode and MicroPython. Kitronik 5673
The board enables control of up to three servos using BBC micro:bit. Each of the three servo connectors has a 2.54 mm pitch and connections labelled as power, ground and signal. The controller supports both standard positional servos and continuous rotation models, making it suitable for robotics projects, moving mechanisms, simple animatronic designs and actuator systems.

Six large contact pads allow additional components to be connected using crocodile clip leads. BBC micro:bit pins P0, P1 and P2 are broken out alongside 3.3 V and GND connections and a Switch A pad for connecting an external switch. BBC micro:bit plugs directly into the integrated edge connector, simplifying system assembly.
Power from 3 AA batteries supplies both the servos and BBC micro:bit. The voltage required by the microcontroller is regulated by the board. The onboard power switch turns the servos and BBC micro:bit on or off, while an LED indicates when the board is powered. The battery holder is fitted to the rear of the PCB, allowing the controller to be used in mobile projects without an external power supply.

Programming can be carried out in Microsoft MakeCode using the dedicated Kitronik Simple Servo blocks or in MicroPython. The manufacturer provides example code for servo initialisation and control. Mounting lugs on both sides of the board are designed for attachment using elastic bands, allowing the controller to be secured to a project without screws or additional tools.
