The 2mm Adapter is a 1:1 adapter that allows for connection between a standard 20-pin connector and a connector with a 2 mm pitch. Thanks to the identical pinout, the adapter does not require any additional configuration or changes to the target hardware. For some models, such as the J-Link PRO, pins 14, 16, 18, and 20 may not be connected to ground (GND) because they are reserved for future use. It is recommended to leave these pins unconnected on the target hardware if their purpose is unclear.
