Description

Fermion BMV080 air quality sensor module uses the Bosch BMV080 chip for precise measurement of particulate matter concentrations PM1, PM2.5 and PM10. Measurement is based on laser light scattering technology, enabling detection of particles as small as 0.5 µm and stable operation across a wide measurement range.

Fanless design eliminates mechanical components responsible for forced airflow, resulting in silent operation and extended device lifetime. The construction reduces contamination buildup inside the measurement chamber and supports long-term use in environmental monitoring systems, IoT devices, HVAC systems and battery-powered portable solutions.

Compact PCB dimensions combined with I2C and SPI communication interfaces allow integration with microcontroller and microprocessor platforms. Low power consumption, including an ultra-low sleep current, supports continuous or periodic operation in energy-efficient applications.
